The Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide comprehensive respiratory care within a smaller, close knit department consisting of one full time and one part time therapist. Responsibilities include administering oxygen, aerosol, and medication therapies, providing critical care respiratory support, managing ventilators and airway devices, and conducting pulmonary function testing, oximetry, and arterial sampling. This therapist will assess and monitor patient respiratory status, maintain equipment and a clean clinical environment, and document care accurately. The role includes close collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other care team members, along with participation in a required on call rotation. Shift schedules offer flexibility between ten and twelve hour options, and this position offers the chance to build meaningful relationships with patients and colleagues in a setting where individual contributions are seen and valued.

This role offers pay up to $49 per hour based on experience, along with a sign on and retention bonus of up to $8,000. On call hours are compensated separately, and additional call back pay applies when a therapist is contacted or brought in outside of scheduled shifts.
